VARON

Varon is a Colombian DJ who has taken Toronto by storm in a very short time. His industrial characteristic sound packed with fast grooves showcases the export-quality talent that Bogotá, the hard capital of the continent, has to offer. He shows that hard techno goes far beyond screech noises and rumble kicks, playing and intertwining the whole spectrum of techno into his dark and groovy sets, regardless of the BPM. He has shared the stage with artists like BIIA, Caravel, Doruksen, PISAPIA(IT) and Vortek’s.

In his short career he has performed at events such as Teletech and Resilience in Toronto, and Prohibition in Montreal… All of this, earning him his first residency with Takeover 6ix. He is an experimental soul, not bound by any trends or formulas, he just loves dancing hard, and sharing it through techno music, as shown in his adventure as co-producer of an underground community-centric party in the heart of Toronto.
